The principle of gradualism
This week let us focus on the principle of gradualism, shall we? Mercury Retrograde is right around the corner, and my hope is that you find stillness amid what could prove to be a chaotic season for you. In my practice, when utilizing the Akashic Records to bring forth guidance and healing, we are asked to consider ourselves one aspect at a time. This request is not as easy as you would think because we know to fully understand something, we must analyze all components to realize an entire concept or thing.
What is the principle of gradualism?
It is the process of reflection in aspects, not the complete picture. If you try to encompass a single vision into one outcome on your spiritual journey, you would be lost. Being lost is not the purpose; clarity is. To be clear, you must examine each factor, each symbol, each message for reflection, more profound thought, and the openness to receive answers. This process can only be done over time, a lifetime even. If your entire soul purpose was revealed in a day, how could you learn? What role would your lessons play in your life?
Spirituality is a journey, and that is its purpose. And a gradual step toward alignment with the Divine in respect to that Light that guides you. Be thankful in the process, for what you seek will always reveal itself with time, patience, effort, and openness. How open have you been to your journey? In what aspect have you rejected the start of your journey out of fear, out of contemplation? This, too, is a part of gradualism.
Pray to be guided to what you seek. Stay ambitious in your desire for Spirit and the revelation of the knowledge that lives within all of us. At the core, gradualism is the remembrance, and we know that this takes time.
