A Soul Lesson on Fear

Fear.

Fear is always at the center of everything with most people. Whatever is going wrong in their life, there is fear. Whatever level they wish they were competing at professionally, fear exists. Even when it comes to relationships, fear exists somewhere in the situation if you are not happy.

This week I was reminded of something really important to remember as an intuitive coach:

no one ever wants to admit that they are afraid.

How can that be?

It's crazy. We are all afraid of something. We have more fear in us at any given time than any other emotion.

Fear is the first thing you have to get over ever to achieve any sense of spiritual enlightenment. But, the struggle begins when you start to fight the fact that you are afraid.

We would all be further in life if we could write down all of our fears and process them one by one. But, do you know that is all intuitive coaching is? Examining your fears and helping you to understand the root cause of your experience in any given situation, that's the process. And allowing you to see the purpose of your role in any given situation?

But do you know why we make that straightforward process complicated? Fear.

Although fear has a few helpers, fear is the leading cause of unfilled lives, imposter syndrome, not achieving your goals, and never feeling peaceful.

Friend, people are out here afraid to be at peace.

One thing about emotions is that your ego records them as a reference for showing up in your circumstances. If you rely on fear as your go-to emotion, your ego will land on it every single time something new occurs. A lot of people I work with have anxiety as the default. Every time they have a breakthrough and feel good, they get scared that it's not normal, so their body starts to search for a problem.

Honestly, it's heartbreaking that we live in a world dominated by so much negative energy that our bodies look for it every single day.

Fear is the reason that intuitive guidance is so powerful. In guidance, you have the opportunity to listen to the dialogue of your highest consciousness for a change. Instead of the humdrum of negative self-talk that you expose while venting to your friends instead of getting proper support and guidance.

You know, I don't trust people with extreme levels of fear.

If you are walking around afraid of everything without the willingness to do anything about it, then what are you doing?

One question that fearful people always ask whenever they get a solution to their issue in an intuitive reading is, "but how do I do that? What does that look like in real-time?" But, of course, this is after they have received a message from Spirit! In other words, with the knowledge of the answer right in front of them.

For every problem we have in our lives, there is a solution. It's never a matter of no answer; it is always about whether you are willing to accept the available resolution not just as a remedy but for a growth lesson.

What I learned about people rejecting solutions is they never really desire a solution in the first place. These select few sit for intuitive session after session and never honestly want to receive spiritual guidance anyway; they want to be the bearer of the knowledge. They want to be the coach, not the coach. This attitude speaks to fear and an extreme lack of awareness; we all need guidance at varying levels.

Do you see what I am saying about not trusting people with fear? In fear, only a narrow perspective is available. Unfortunately, a limited view represents limiting beliefs, and that leads to a lot of missteps.

Life will always snowball you with complications at the worst possible time. It doesn't matter what you achieve professionally or personally if you struggle with fear. If you are in fear, you are living, existing in a constant state of survival mode. And, with the state of our global circumstances, you don't need any internal turmoil coupled with external chaos. The people that are handling what's going on outside the best are the people that move with clarity, faith, and openness. Truly, the people that always struggle the most are the ones the most fearful.

The fearful will never get an answer to "the how" that will satisfy them. The truth is most people don't want to connect to the how; they want to control the how.

Here at the critical questions:

What changes do you need to make in yourself?

How has judging the pathway to change held you back?

Take some time and work through these questions if you are trying to cope with fear.

Though, the ultimate question is, "Who are three people you could reach out to support you if your limiting beliefs were on pause for a day?"

Answering critical questions always leads to change. But, answering the questions makes us responsible for doing something more than sitting in fear.

I had an interesting conversation with a very intelligent person about fear last week. The funny thing about spirituality is that it requires a particular intellect to understand higher-level concepts, but smart humans always over rationalize. It's as if they are smart; they believe themselves immune to fear because they are actually too smart to be afraid.

Everybody that has escaped puberty can understand that fear isn't real. Fear exists in the ego as the logical outcome based on personal awareness or through the experiences of others. Fear is simply what we think will happen. Yet and still, we all have fears.

Back to this interesting convo I had last week, Spirit forced me to remember sitting with this person: you can be super smart and get yourself far, but you are never too smart to be guided. You will never be able to go further than your current level of consciousness without a guide. That's what all smart students know. So the person that spends time trying to outsmart the process, the guide, the teacher, the beginning of the next level because they know better, will stay stuck the longest.

Do you want to know why? Perfectionists always lose the most because they are the most afraid. And also, perfectionism puts you in opposition to everything and everyone. There can be no flow as long as you are in opposition.

I say all this to say; you don't have to be afraid. Fear is a choice. A really good friend told me something years ago that I think about every time I meet someone afraid of guidance, and it was this, "It's scarce for someone to come across you that can read for others as deeply as you do. If people need a sign or are looking for 'the how,' they should accept guidance as a physical manifestation of the answer. But also, they can ask you to channel a message for them about the how."

Honestly, no one will ever directly ask me about the right place to start in guidance. The impetus in guidance is trust, and to truly trust the vessel, the surrender to the highest consciousness will have already needed to occur.

You can live in fear and live in a constant state of the need to control, but at the end of it all, we all have to choose to be present with our circumstances with acceptance. Or live in an uncertain future riddled with fear.

It's all a matter of choice.

If you are ready to embark on a soulful journey to learn to unpack the fear and re-learn to harness light for the greater and universal good, then schedule some time with me, and let's see if we can travel this road together.
